Quick relief from your physical complaints

You can visit us from Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM to 9:00 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM). We have easily accessible physiotherapy in Rotterdam, Hillegersberg-Terbregge, and Kralingen.

Physiotherapy Iburg has a contract with health insurers, except with Zorg en Zekerheid. You will too without reference from your general practitioner (GP) and/or specialist immediately.

First visit to our physiotherapy in Rotterdam

We often try to reserve extra time for you during the first appointment, so that there is plenty of time for a screening, intake and examination and also time for an initial (short) treatment. This gives us sufficient time to discuss and investigate your complaints and we do not have to send you home without helping you. During this appointment, the treatment and action plan are also discussed.

Customized treatment plan

The first appointment consists of an introduction and intake, during which your personal details, telephone number, e-mail, GP and health insurer are recorded. An extensive inventory of your complaint(s) and a physical examination will then take place. Our physiotherapists are obliged to verify your identity, so we kindly request that you bring a valid ID.

Following the intake interview and physical examination, the outcome will be discussed with you. Our physiotherapist explains which treatments can be most effective for your complaint and for what purpose certain actions are performed. A treatment plan is drawn up in consultation. It may be that you would be better treated by another therapist/specialization, this will of course also be done in consultation with you.

To optimize quality and collaboration between different disciplines, all results of the intake and examination are recorded, so that evaluation can take place throughout the entire course of your treatment.

During the treatment you will receive advice on how to prevent (new) complaints, and you may also be given exercises to do at home. The physiotherapist coaches you on how to resolve your complaint and prevent new complaints.
